CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT HEMA SCHOOL
Children are the world’s most valuable resources and the best creation of God they spread joy in every sense and to make them feel special, children’s day was celebrated in HEMA School with lots of enthusiasm where various program were showcased to make the day a memorable one.
The program started off with lighting of ceremonial lamp by Principal, Ms. Poonam Sharma, Vice-Principal Ms. Pamela Abraham & Headmistress Ms. Peyali Sinha, Mast. Robin Sharma, Head Boy, Ku. Harpreet Kaur followed by paying floral tribute to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.
No program gets started off without invoking the divine blessing, to seek the blessing of almighty, prayer song was sung by our teachers. Volleyball match was also held between students and teachers to infuse a positive spirit in them and to make the students happy.
The ambience of the day got a kick start by a variety of mesmerizing program presented by the teachers, to give a treat of the most special and valuable gifts of God our children, without whom the aura would be void. The energetic and enchanting dance performance and songs by teachers filled the air with joy and merriment.
A beautiful skit was presented by K.G. Teachers reminiscing the good old childhood days which was without any tension and problems.
On this occasion Principal of the school Ms. Poonam Sharma addressed the gathering by her inspiring and motivational words.
Sharing, caring and belongingness are some of the values that students should instill in their life with this very objective and to celebrate the Joy of Children’s Day HEMA Hr. Sec. School Staff and Students of Class 12 visited Snehalaya and served Lunch to the inmates. Secretary Mr. Kishore Pillai, Vice Principal Ms. Pamela Abraham, Teachers and students interacted with the children at Snehalaya. Our students showed their love and concern by presenting enthralling program. This noble cause of spreading smile and happiness among these less privileged children, gave immense peace and happiness to our students. It was really a wonderful experience to be with them.
To provide a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills and also help them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest a Fireless Cooking and a Salad decoration competitions were also organized for classes 6 to 12. The students enjoyed the day by enthusiastically taking part in this fun learning package. The event gave a platform to the students to demonstrate their culinary knowledge
The program was attended by Shri Philip Panicker, President, Shri Kishore Pillai Secretary, Shri Ajit Kumar, Treasurer and Shri Shiji Chacko, G. C. Member of HEMA Education Society.
The program came to an end with the proposing of vote of thanks by school Head Boy Robin Sharma.
