On 05 , November ,2023 HEMA Higher Secondary School hosted a one day PRP workshop on Environmental Studies conducted by CBSE.
The Resource person for the workshop was Dr. G.K. Udgata, Principal, DAV ACC Public School, Katni. He was assisted by a co- resource person Ms Sangeeta Mukherjee

The workshop was attended by Principals HM's,PGT,TGT& PRT's from the leading CBSE affiliated schools of Bhopal and nearby cities.
The programme started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by a welcome of the guests with a token of gratitude by Madam Principal Ms. Poonam Sharma.
The highlights of the programme were
Creating cross - Curriculum approach , more experiential and hands on learning practices , Attaining SDG goals, steps to be taken by every individual for the welfare of community and environment, Problem solving approach, more interactive classes,
The use of 3 R's, awareness of Students about the use of plastic and it's harmful effects..
In a nutshell.. relating EVS with real life experiences and taking necessary steps to protect our environment.
The workshop came to an end by the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Jalaja Jayachandra, Coordinator ( Primary)
