Today, Hema Higher Secondary School took a significant step towards acknowledging "Mental Health as a Universal Right," in alignment with the UN's 2023 theme for World Mental Health Day. On this occasion, the students of Classes Xl and XlI
Psychology stream visited the Digdarsheeka Institute for Rehabilitation, an organization dedicated to assisting children with special needs. This visit provided the students with a profound understanding of the unique requirements of these children and how they can be rehabilitated to access basic occupational opportunities. Practical exposure to vocational therapy, speech therapy, deaf and blind rehabilitation, psychophysiological therapy, and various other domains was also gained. The experience was truly invaluable.
