Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh, or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the old times; hope that the malicious rule of Kansa would soon end.
An Inter house competition for the classes I&II was organised on the occasion of Janamashtmi..
All the children were dressed up so beautifully as Radha Rani and Lord Krishna
Also many of them took the different and unique attire like Yashodha maa , Kans mama etc
The program started by seeking god blessings through morning prayer followed by the welcome of all the dignitaries and felicitation of our Honorable judges

The competition started with Class II followed by Class I
All the participants enthusiastically took part in the competition and spoke sholks ,poems songs on Janamashtmi.
Both the judges praised the efforts put in by the children , Parents and the teachers.
At the end they announced the results and congratulated all the winners.
The event ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms K.Uma ma'am Ms Rita Gupta.
