The closing ceremony of glorious Golden Jubilee of HEMA Higher Secondary School was celebrated on 29th April 2023 in the school premises with pomp and fervour , as jubilees are occasions to be celebrated. To recall the marvellous ways in which the school has fulfilled its Nobel mission. From a humble beginning in 1973 the school has grown to leaps and bounds and now stands tall with impressive buildings, latest technology contributes to a positive learning environment.
The program was graced by, Shri Vishvas Sarang Minister for Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation, Govt. of MP. The Guest of Honour was Captain Roy Joseph, Program Director at idex, Innovations for Defence Excellence. The other dignitaries Shri Philip Panicker, President, Shri Kishore Pillai, Secretary, HEMA Education Society and other Governing Committee members , were welcomed in traditional Kerala style with Thalapoli and Chenda mela followed by unveiling of Foundation Stone of West Wing, inauguration of Reception by the Chief Guest and newly constructed Amphitheatre by the Guest of honour.
The program started off with lighting of the lamp followed by welcome address by Principal, Ms. Poonam Sharma, Shri Philip Panicker, President addressed the gathering with his inspiring words and gave an insight about HEMA’s Glorious Journey.
The School Souvenir and Newspaper 'The Insight' was officially released by Shri. Vishvas Sarang.
The cultural program 'Udaan' was captivating and a plethora of scintillating cultural displays. The Ex-Presidents and Ex-Principal were felicitated who played a key role in bringing the school to new heights through their selfless service and ardent dedication The meritorious students were also felicitated on this occasion.
