Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on 14th of April every year. It is considered as an official holiday in India as an honour to the man who fought tirelessly to eradicate the caste system and gain equal rights as the citizen of India.
