REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT HEMA SCHOOL

Freedom in the mind, 

Strength in the words, 

Pureness in our blood, 

Pride in our souls, 

Zeal in our hearts.

HEMA Higher Secondary School celebrated the 74th Republic Day with enthusiasm, fervour and pride. The Republic Day Celebration started off with Guard of Honour. The National Flag was unfurled by Shri Kishore Pillai, Secretary HEMA Education society followed by singing of the National Anthem. 

In bygone days, commanders were taught that when in doubt, they should march their troops towards victory, synchronising rhythm, discipline and co –ordination the students of HEMA School presented March Past which was followed by the patriotic song by school choir. Shri Sajit Nair in his speech has highlighted the relevance of this day and gave an insight into the tireless efforts made by our constitution makers in drafting one of the finest & lengthiest constitution of the world. On the occasion of Basant Panchami Goddess Saraswati- The Goddess of knowledge and wisdom was worshipped through Saraswati Vandana. 

Principal Ms. Poonam Sharma in her speech said to remember the importance of protecting and preserving the Constitution and it is our duty as citizens to uphold the principles and values laid down in the Constitution, and to work towards building a stronger and more prosperous nation. 

Our brave heroes waged a valiant struggle for years so that future generations could live their lives with freedom and dignity. This is a day to celebrate them and what they fought for.
