NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATED AT HEMA
“One ounce of practice is worth a thousand pounds of theory” as rightly said by Swami Vivekananda whose birth anniversary is celebrated throughout India as 'The National Youth Day'. The day is commemorated to celebrate the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared 12th January as National Youth Day.
HEMA Higher Secondary school celebrated National Youth Day with spirituality and patriotism and keeping up with the teachings of Vivekananda of “Arise Awoke and stop not until the goal is reached.”
The programme started off with Madhya Pradesh song followed by Vande Mataram. Students of classes VI to VIII participated in Surya Namaskar amidst the chanting of Mantras invoking the positive energy through Yogasanas.
